Play Synopsis

A must see stage play about a local bar in Harlem, New York. It’s owned by Joe, the bartender and his wife Shelly. The bar’s “Happy Hour” is nothing short of drama, comedy, and tragedy with its twenty- two patrons. It’s frequented daily by Sam the alcoholic business man, Richard the disgruntled employee, Charles and Margaret the fighting husband and wife, Marta the schizophrenic, Michael the college student, Sid the homeless man, Sean the drug dealer, Mrs. Rose the abusive wife, Roxie the troubled jazz singer, the adulteress Katie, the husband prostituting his wife, Sabina the bar drunk, and a host of other misfits.
